A collaboration between Cyril Kongo and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Created in close collaboration with the Bespoke Collective at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, Black Badge Cullinan by Cyril Kongo transforms the motor car into an immersive work of art.
Developed over months of co-creation, the project introduces Kongoverse: Kongo’s visual universe shaped by colour, movement, symbols, imagined planets and personal codes. Working directly inside the Rolls-Royce ateliers, Kongo hand-painted interior elements, developed bespoke compositions and reimagined the relationship between contemporary art and craftsmanship.
More than a collaboration, the project represents a dialogue between two worlds driven by individuality, precision and creative freedom.

Each Black Badge Cullinan commission features a unique hand painted interior artwork extending across the fascia, waterfall, picnic tables and Starlight Headliner, creating a continuous composition throughout the cabin.
The exterior is finished in Blue Crystal Over Black with bespoke Gradient Coachlines and coloured brake callipers inspired by Kongo’s palette. Hidden details including embroidered tags, illuminated treadplates and painted motifs reveal themselves gradually throughout the vehicle.
Produced as five highly exclusive collector commissions, each motor car becomes a one of one expression of the Kongoverse, where contemporary art, craftsmanship and engineering exist as a single composition.
What made this collaboration so special was the constant conversation between my universe and Rolls-Royce’s.
Every idea was treated with care and curiosity.I was fully immersed in the brand’s creative studio.”
